Coach Einertson
Co-Head Coach
Coach Einertson is in his 28th season as head coach of the Austin Packer Cross Country Teams. The boys and girls teams have continued to gain success in the past few years sending runners to State in 13 years of the last 15 years.
Einertson competed in Cross Country and Track at Mankato State University. At North Central of Manly High School in Manly, Iowa , Einertson won the 1600 and 800 meter runs at the State Meet in 1991.
Coach Einertson teaches Math at Austin High School. He lives in Stewartville with his wife Kyla and dog Maggie. Coach Einertson has two children Kaitlin (ER Nurse at Mayo) and Trent (Currently enrolled @ UW La Crosse) and one grandchild (Kinsley)
Coach DeGlavin
Co-Head Coach
Coach DeGlavin is in her 4th season as a coach for the Austin Packer Cross Country team and 1st year as co-head coach. She will also be in her 5th year as an assistant coach for the girls & boys track team as the distance and mid-distance coach.
DeGlavin competed in 4 years of varsity high school track and cross country, and went to state as a team four years in a row. During her senior year, her team finished second at the Michigan Division 4 State Meet. During the track season, she competed at the state level in the 1600 and 4x400 relay, and was the regional champion in the 1600 her senior year. After high school, she went on to run (for fun) with the Michigan State Running Club.
Coach DeGlavin teaches science at Austin High School. She lives in Austin with her wife Lindsay, dogs Smokey and Theo, and cats Ash and Debbie. She enjoys running road races and is on a life mission to complete a half marathon in each state!
